About Stacy
Stacy Ries Snyder
Stacy has been preforming literally all her life. She first performed on Stage at the tender age of two and sang the National Anthem for the President of the United States when she was five. By the time she was in her twenties, she had appeared on most of the local TV shows in Nashville including a performance on the nationally syndicated program “Hee Haw”.
Stacy has performed as a solo with her guitar, with her band or just a pianist since she was in college in downtown Nashville in Broadway bars including Robert’s Western World, Legends and Layla's Bluegrass Inn along with other notable restaurants.
Singing in church, private events, weddings and funerals for many years, Stacy currently cantors regularly at a large Nashville area church. She loves helping people celebrate and commemorate their special life moments...weddings and funerals are certainly some of the most important days of anyone's life.
In the early 2000’s, her family started a wedding cake business which they grew from "scratch" to becoming one of the most highly recommended specialty cake business in Nashville. After selling the bakery 14 years after its inception, Stacy found that she missed working with the brides. She felt that one of the best parts of the wedding cake business was working with brides, hearing their stories and bringing their cake dreams to life. Now, Stacy has found a way to combine her two loves: working with brides and creating music.
Because she grew up in the music industry, Stacy has a huge repertoire of songs at my fingertips – plus she likes to learn new songs – especially if the song has a special meaning to someone. Some of her favorite songs are ones that she learned for a client.
After graduating with honors from Belmont University with a degree in French, she has continued her studies both in French and Spanish and loves to sing in other languages.
For ceremony music, Stacy brings a pianist with her. The talented pianists with whom she works specialize in different styles of music allowing her to select the one that best fits the genre of music that reflects the style of the bride. Whether it is classical or jazzy – Stacy will bring a talented musician that will be able to fulfill the musical requirement set by the bride.
“I would love to hear from you – hear your stories and discover music together that will make your ceremony the most meaningful and memorable for you and your guests.” – Stacy
